The Gateway Science Museum is a partnership between CSU Chico and the surrounding community. It regularly hosts engaging hands-on traveling exhibitions and programming about the region, offering STEM education to people of all ages and from all walks of life.
Visitors can explore exhibit galleries, a hands-on Discovery Room, and Saturday Investigation Station activities (great for kids). The gardens surrounding the museum include the Native Plant Pollinator Garden, Glenn E. and Ruth Gray Cunningham Memorial Exhibit, the Foothills Garden, and plantings that are representative of four distinct ecological regions in Northern California.
